Just a general question on cost.

The situation is the owner of the apartment I rent. He tells us the rent has to go up as his costs are increasing. This has happened twice in the last two years. One of the things he says is that tax has increased.

My question is, have business costs and taxation increased much in this period ? I do not see increases in prices of other accommodation places which is why I ask.

Your input will be much appreciated.

Minimum wage has gone up incase you hadn't heard. So reception maintenance security cleaning etc up . Plus electric a bit I think .

If your not happen then just move. Its his place and you can pay or get out up to you.. excuse real or not , doesn't matter
