Zelensky knows the game is up.
When Zelensky says it has to end by diplomacy it's obvious the game is over, and the fat lady is getting ready to sing. Trump isn't even president yet and Zelensky is going back on all his fighting on words. It'll be a stupid head of state that keeps throwing money into the Ukraine black hole now, though I expect warmonger Biden will keep sending death to Ukraine. Well done Trump, not even sworn in and making wars end. Trump is the Man. Read it and weep AN armchair warriors. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0mzgv4x901o He added that Ukraine "must do everything so that this war ends next year, ends through diplomatic means", with Russian forces making advances on the battlefield. -

Something smelling musky -- the age of undemocratic in your face oligarchy in the USA.
The Republican is now the MAGA Republican party, just like the Democrat party is nothing like the Democrat party of twenty years ago. The POC Obama changed all of that. Get used to it. -

It's an open question on whether there will be real midterms or whether the Trump autocracy will be able to convert them into Putin Orban type show elections. I am still hopeful the midterms will still be OK though. -

UK Pensioners in Thailand Face New Scrutiny Over Pension Fraud
I know how they can fix the issue, just allow expats in Thailand to have the same rights as expats in foreign countries that the UK government doesn't currently discriminate against. Why have different laws based on where someone decides to live? They earned it, stop trying to steal it back! -

Chrome
Interesting that I can use my secondary browser to access AN and review which other devices AN thinks I'm signed in on and it shows I'm signed in on Chrome, yet I don't have access. If I sign out those Chrome screens on AN, using the secondary browser and sign in again with Chrome, AN once again thinks I am logged in but I still don't have access. -

Knorr cubes
They do seem to be laden with salt and chemicals, not sure whether they now contain MSG. I think you do need to add a limited amount of salt to soups and stews for the taste but I usually use fresh or dried herbs for flavour. Even with a stock cube I don't think it's too bad if using in a soup or stew. One cube in a 4 portion pot would be my limit.
