 Rest assured I've made many a howler including mistaking domestic swan geese for the wild version!

I am a very casual bird shooter to say it mildly, if they happens to pass in the garden or out on the power cables on the road I try capture them.

Anybody know which bird it is? It's beautiful for sure and quite noisy, he-he.

Full 300mm tele and photo cropped a bit, so more tele reach would be nice.

Taken at Mae Hia Chiang Mai today. I have it down as a Banded Bay Cuckoo but open to correction.

Today I went to Sangkhampang and was lucky enough to get the red billed blue magpie

I think this is a Flycatcher but I'm not sure which one. I could be wrong about that,the position of the wing carriage lead's me to think of flycatchers

I got this photo of the Green Billed Malkoha on the edge of the forest near Sangkhampang. I followed it for an hour to get a decent shot.
