Sunsets And Sunrises

In my case its got to be sunsets that I try to capture : as the sun sets over the sea, islands and beaches and rises over the not toooooo pretty city of Pattaya. I have not even bothered trying to capture an attractive sunrise.

Now theres a challenge for me .... well may be for someone else ... tooooo hard a task.

darn I was having a massage this evening, during a great sunset .....

I managed to snap this when she said turn over!

Apols ... another Ocean Marina sunset. This through the stern of a yacht. Possibly not tooo clever to get sunset etc out of focus and metalwork in focus but that was what I decided. The hut houses a guy who I assume is employed to log boats in and out.

Actually had a sunrise this morning after about 2 weeks of overcast every day.

Pattaya Bay last evening. I thought the huge black cloud at horizon the sun was going down into, was a pain. But the sun's rays got through a few gaps and got quite interesting.

My apologies for messing up this wonderful thread folks but I had to delete a photo I uploaded last night.The reason being that last night

through tired eyes I totally messed up the editing and it ended up looking as though a fireball had just passed over the horizon.When in fact

all I wanted to do was bring out the foreground that was underexposed in the original photo.Lesson learned,sometimes less is more.
