Rayong Golf

Featured Replies

Does anyone have info on Rayong area courses? Discounts for Thai residents, promotions etc. I'm considering a few weeks there in March to escape the Chiang Mai smoky season.

You can check current rates for most local (Pattaya) courses here, http://www.pattayasports.org/site/files/jan_rates.xls. Includes several courses nearby to Rayong. They will update the rates each month. To get discounts you can join PSC, I don't know if you can get a discount as a non-Thai Thailand resident. Rayong Country Club was very good value last year, although now it's high season so prices are up a bit, not sure if March is still high season or not.

Yes, join Pattaya Sports Club and you will get discounts at participating clubs regardless of resident status or nationality.

Here is their web site: http://pattayasports.org/site/

Green Valley a good track down that way, Eastern Star is ok, but small greens and the layout isn't amazing, Never played Emerald. Plutaluang is the navy course, 36 holes - North and West are fantastic value, East and South are the poorer cousins. Rayong country club is cheap, but it is a bit run down and very dry, not a bad layout but as mentioned, in poor condition each time I have played there.

St Andrews is next to Green Valley, never played it, cart only and has a couple of par 6's. Heard it is a good track.
