Ban Chang Area Murder?

Featured Replies

Hey anyone know of a man getting his throat cut in the China Temple area near the golden Buddah mountain?

Sorry to make this such a gruesome question but I am hearing stories but no concrete info.

I'm sure if it was a farang, it would have been reported. If Thai, many deaths go unreported in the English media. I'll ask around and see if anybody has heard anything.

I did hear of an attempted rape near the fresh market in Ban Amphur on Suk. A farang lady. According to the police there's a group of dodgy characters who just moved in across the street.

I heard something about this. I won't disclose the guy's name as he may have friends or family looking out for info, as well.

The story involves his truck being in an accident after driving from Banchang to Pattaya, and running off the road. Allegedly machinery or work equipment came through the back window and caused the injuries to his neck.

Will update as I hear anything, but don't think it's a murder case as yet.

Related info; this road is bandit country after dark. Don't stop for branches across the road or people with "car trouble" at the side of the roads. People have been robbed (at gunpoint) on this road previously.

That's what I heard yesterday as well. That is a very dangerous section of road. My good friend crashed in that area a few years ago also....
