I'm currently working full-time as an in-house designer, but I'm considering to go back to freelancing. Is this actually possible in Thailand? From what I could find out so far, I will need to register a business that would be co-owned by a Thai national (I'm a EU citizen). However, since this is not a classical company, but self-employment and some B2B now and then, I wonder what business type I should go for and what requirements they have? Any useful info is much appreciated, thanks in advance! :)

Unfortunately Thailand does not offer a freelance work permit. You will need to start your own business with a registered capital of 2 million baht and four Thai employees in order to obtain a work permit through the company.

One thing you may wish to consider is approaching one of your regular clients to obtain a work permit through them if at all possible.
