Tot Internet Upgrade

Anyone who has TOT internet should inquire about an upgrade.

Acting on the advice of my neighbour who I may have mentioned in the past as knowing about such things, I did today at Central when I paid my bill and without further discussion received 10mbps for the same price I had been paying for 6.

For international gateway 10 mb from TOT will make no difference. I have been down that road before and they don't chage me xtra because I am not getting any more speed than 6 mb. AMAZING!

Yes, always ask about upgrades. I signed up with TOT over 10 years ago, I paid about 1,000 baht + tax for a then 1 Meg service. Always thought upgrades would be automatic. about 2 years ago I asked about changing to a faster speed. Much surprised staff said i should have asked years ago. they changed to 10 megs and now I only pay 630 baht + tax. Bit of a cheat by them, but I have to accept my mistake in not asking.

My neighbour claims he demanded... and received.... a refund taken off of future bills based on what he should have been paying for the lower speed.

I got MeeTV through TOT and only 399 Mth. They have cheaper plans and dearer ones also. I can get all the TV channels on it that arent on my other set up. Thats the one through the internet but you need a dish also( thats 250 Mth). No complaints about watching repeats now as have HEAPS of channels now.

I will go in next week when I return from holidays and get an upgrade as I have never asked for one.

We asked for the advertised free upgrade from 3BB.

Wish I'd never aased. Before the upgrade it was already fast and quite stable. After the upgrade jumps all over the place and at times slow.

We asked to go back to previous service, but they say they cannot change it backwards. A bit disappointed, but overall it's much better than a couple of years back..
