Repairing A Makha Wooden Floor.

Featured Replies

I have a parquet makha hardwood flooring, which has been attacked by termites.

This happened many years ago, and I now feel that this problem has been eradicated.

I am now considering repairing the floor.

Has anyone had any experience in doing this, and if so did they consider using other products, say Leowood's Anti-Termite wooden flooring, or their laminate flooring?

Any tips and advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, generally the termites will have come from under the concrete slab and will have started to eat underneath the floor. You should lift up a few boards especially where you can see damage on the surface and have a look. from my experience by the time you can see the effects of termites on the surface the floor is already maybe beyond repair. Can you check and send some photo's to me by pm ? Thanks
