Forget about spare parts. What have you done to fix it? If they are showing in the Device Manager, there is likely nothing wrong with the ports.

Turn the thing off and remove the power cord. Leave it for a few minutes, plug it back in again and start the machine. Try the ports again.

_{I had a Sony VAIO purchased outside the country and with expired warranty. bring it to Sony service centre and they quote the price in 3 days. no different than any other Sony VAIO purchased in Thailand but with expired warranty.}

I bought a notebook cooler on amazon with 3 fan to attach on the underside to reduce heat I think this device take to much power maybe a shortcut

2 different mouse work good before not recogneized but the only think work charge iPhone cannot acces system controll without mouse and touch pad

Did you follow my instruction to reset the ports?

If still no go, test the system with a Live CD/DVD. This is a disc that contains a full operating system that can be run from the disc without disturbing any data on your laptop. You run the OS and then check the ports from that OS.

Here is one: UBUNTU Follow the instruction to create a bootable USB drive or optical disc. Boot from the disc and choose the 'Try Ubuntu' option. It will load up within RAM and allow you to check whether you problem is software related or hardware related.

I try to start in last saving configuration and enter ami bios , was thinking battery emty, and loose settings but in Amibios it self don't find any settings for USB on and off?!
