Samsung Tab 7 Plus (Not Working)

Featured Replies

Hi there.

I tried to change my OS from ics 4.0.4 to cyangenmod, but i failed. Now, it doesnt work anymore.

dtac sent it to SAMSUNG in Zeer, Rangsit. They said it looks like it was dropped on the floor and it needs a new main-board.

At the moment, my Danish friend istrying to flash a new ROM, but is having trouble...

So, does any1 know how to fix it, or where I can get spare parts on the cheap!

Thanx in advance,

Loading new firmware doesn't make the tablet look like it was dropped on the floor. If it was "physically" damaged you probably should take it to a shop. If it's just a firmware issue just continue trying to flash the ROM...maybe go back to the stock ROM...I'm sure you can download it from several sites. Otherwise, I'm sure a shop could flash a ROM since they probably get a lot of business like this.

Heck, just yesterday I decided to flash my Onda V971 tablet from Jelly Bean to Ice Cream Sandwich (downgrade so to speak). A custom JB 4.1.2 (rooted) had been working fine for over a month except higher battery draw than ICS) but just this week the battery charging started acting strange...not reaching 100% charge...maybe just 90%...sometimes 92%...and just continuously trying to reach 100%. I tried variety of things like factory reset, battery calibration, etc...still no joy. So I decided to reflash the Onda ICS 4.0.3 (it comes rooted) which I had done at least 10 times times before when trying various JB and ICS ROMs with little to no problem...but this time I thought I had bricked the tablet...it just wouldn't get past approx. the 70% flash point before losing the USB connection between the tablet and laptop. But on about a the eight try (and me about ready to give up) it flashed successfully and looks like it automatically reloaded the USB driver during this flash attempt in order to maintain a solid USB connection. My battery charge indication is now operating normal again.

Can you boot the P6200 into Recovery Mode?

(Power off, press and hold: Power and Volume up buttons simultaneously)

I assume you made a Nandroid back-up before flashing a custom ROM?

Typically a Samsung Android device is nearly impossible to hard-brick so you should be able to fix it.

I'd find the original, current Samsung firmware (for Thailand: 4.0.4 XLPC) for the device and re-flash using ODIN.
