I was following this in real time, reading some conspiracy forums while the events were unfolding and if anything what this has taught me is that most conspiracy theorists are idiots. They have their agenda to stick to and no matter what information comes out they will say that it follows their agenda or twist it if need be. If anything at all doesn't fit what they want to believe then or is 100% debunked, if they don't immediately dismiss it as fake, they will say "that's exactly what the powers that be want you to think".

The conspiracy theorists say don't ever believe the mainstream media, unless of course the MSM are reporting something that fits into their theory then they will say it is true and use it as solid evidence.

When the bombs first went off they said there were no bombs. Then they said the bombs were not real bombs and all the damage was fake. Then they said all of the casualties were crisis actors. Then they said the suspects were not real humans but replicants/robots. And so on, just coming out with wrong assumption after wrong unproven assumption until now.

These are people who do zero real investigation work of their and base everything on things they read on the internet and anything they get right is more fluke or chance than any real theory they have thought up on their own.

In this day and age with everyone having a video camera in their pocket and the alternate media on the internet, it is impossible to control the flow of information like the conspiracy theorist are saying. However, they see 1 picture and draw 1000 wrong conclusions from it instead of waiting for different angles or other pictures to come out and rationally examine the evidence.

There are a lot of contradictory and strange things about the Boston bombings and bombers, but we don't have most of the information and I doubt we will get it, so all they are doing is just making up the gaps with wild theories.

Of course I do not believe everything the mainstream media says, but I also believe anything the conspiracy theorists say is complete bunkum. If you were to draw up a chart of debunked conspiracies to true conspiracies I think it would be about a 99,999:1 ratio. But of course, because I disagree with them, I am a misinformation agent working for some secret agent planted to ruin their movement. I'm also probably a shapeshifting vampiric reptoid who flew here on the hollow moon which transmits the hologram that we all believe is our real life too.

Yep apparently. The shapeshifting reptilian overloads who secretly rule us and have to drink virgin blood to maintain their human disguise flew to earth inside the moon, and now they use it to transmit a huge hologram which we believe is our lives. Basically David Icke watched The Matrix and V and thought they were documentaries and the sheep who follow him, and think they are awakened from the lies of the elite, believe every word he says without question.

I think it goes without saying that we live in a world of lies and there are real conspiracies happening every day but these people who make up outrageous stories by conspiring with each other on the internet are probably not the people who are going to reveal them to us any quicker by making up science fiction stories to explain whatever they cannot work out with the small amount of evidence they see. The ironic thing is they call themselves "Truthers" but all I have seen them post over the last week is completely wrong assumptions and guesses over and over again.

I'm just too busy to read that stuff.

Back on topic - I am not sure that these two were the only participants - they could well have been the scapegoats for a larger organisation. Chechnyans do not seem to me to have any particular grudge against the US - and two disaffected youths on their own seem to have had too much organisational ability to do this as a first-time project.

I tend to believe their mother, in that the FBI would not leave them alone. We know from other projects that the FBI set up 'sting' operations. Maybe the FBI helped a little too much this time?

I don't think that there's much doubt that the two Chechnyans did it, but why would Chechnyans attack the US? Their opposition has always been to Russia.
