Ref those very light blocks that are being used more and more for house building.

I've been told that you shouldn't use the usual cement/mortar mix with them as they have a special fixative that should be used instead.

Has anyone seen it for sale anywhere around the Patt's area ?

Not really helpful I know, but you usually get the correct mortar from the place that sells the blocks smile.png

Very true but the places I've tried so far don't have it and just tell me 'cement ok' smile.png Probably is for them when at 55 kilo' they fall against the wall but some of my mates are substantially more than 55 kilo' whistling.gif

Yeah - if you buy q-con or superblock they will provide the "glue" that is used. Regular mortar is NOT the way to build with these.

I'll stop asking the local suppliers and try Global or similar.

Any respectable local supplier will have it. Aren't there any Cement Thai Homemarts in your neighborhood?

I's the same stuff they use for wall tiles as well.
