Someone mentioned the passing of Rolf formerly of the old Flamingo...

Anybody else hear about this ?

He certainly wasn't the age to have old folks problems

I havn't heard, but the last time I saw him he looked decidedly "unwell" He said he was fine, and I didn't pursue the matter. We passed the time of day and went on our way.

Aparently true Gonzo. I just had a call from a friend who had spoken to his ex wife Toi, and she said that he died a couple of weeks ago. Sorry no details...MM

Sad news indeed. Apparently the police discovered his body at home on Monday, after being alerted by neighbours. Have fond memories of afternoons at the Flamingo, a great crowd.

Rolf's funeral service / cremation will be at Wat Suan Dok, Saturday 1st April.
