Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Bangkok that has these pills? Would be VERY appreciated!

I've been prescribed them in the past, now been prescribed Lyrica (Pregabalin) in my home land instead, and I do know that Lyrica is available in Bkk as well. but for me the side effects of lyrica are far worse than those of Neurontin. So if anyone knows if it's available please let me know. Else I will have to try to solve that before I get there, thing is I'm leaving in a couple of days and have quite a lot to get done before then, so I'll cross my fingers...

Most large pharmacies have it. In addition to Neurontin brand there is now a GPO Gabapentin (local generic).

You won't find it in a Boots or Watsons, as these have very limited range of medications. But any large pharmacy in a major city or town of any size will usually have it.

Thanks a lot Sheryl!I've only tried in The Mall Bangkapi, and they only had Lyrica and didn't even know what gabapentin or Neurontin was. So that made me think the situation would be the same throughout the city since those 2 Pharmacies usually have quite a good stock. However, I will go in to Downtown and see if I find it around Sukhumvit or petchaburi, thanks! :)

I find it interesting that you were prescribed a 2 month course of Gabapentin.

Without wishing to be intrusive I would be pleased to learn about the reasoning which led to your treatment with this medication.

I would also be interested to know if the treatment benefited you ?

PM me if you wish

Many thanks

I had 'Hinfoot Fusion' done to both ankles. http://www.footsurgeryatlas.com/double-fusion-ankle-and-subtalar-03.htm .That was back in December 2011. I have suffered nerve damage to both feet and I have been taking daily doses of Lycria 75mg, Rontin600 (Gabapentin) and Neurobion for the last 2 months. I didn't like the side affects of Lycria, which gave me a woozie/giddy sensation after taking in the morning. It petered out around lunchtimes. The medication seems to have benefited me very little, if at all. I really won't know until I have a nerve conductivity test done again next month. No problem in answering your questions Jrtmedic
