Does anyone know of a good G.P. or internist in the Surin city area? if not there how about Buri Ram? Bangkok?

Within Surin your best option would be at an army (or air force) hospital. Afraid I can't give a specific name and in any event yo uusually acn't choose your doctor at these but the standard of care is usually good.

Alterantively if you speak Thai pop by the military hospital OPD circa 1-2 Pm, chat up the nurses and ask if any of the military docs have private docs in town and if so can they recommend one.

If still no luck -- and definitely if anything specialized is needed -- it is worth traveling to Khon Kaen University Hospital, that's the best facility in that region.
