I think I am god's gift to the bar owners in Pattaya ! And yes, there are PCs in some of the igloos here, though not all have internet connections. (My first week back in Canada, the temperature dropped down to 7 degrees in the morning !!!! I almost died of shock. Others are walking around in shorts and t-shirts, enjoying the day-time highs of 18 degrees. I'm wearing heavy pullovers and jackets. ) And what's with the prices here ! 380 baht for a movie, plus another 350 baht for a small pop and bag of popcorn ! 240 baht for a cab ride I could do for 10 baht in Pattaya. Pack of cigarettes here go for a little over 330 baht. 270 baht for an "American" breakfast ! I think I've seen a couple dozen full-sized Harleys, but almost no small motos at all. I won't go into detail about the one and only "strip" club they have in this city. It's been a learning experience since I've arrived, in more ways than one. Makes me appreciate LOS even more. I'm actually looking forward to getting out of here and in to AssCrackistan (partly because the sooner I get there, the sooner I can start planning my next trip back to LOS !!) At least I have the knowledge that none of you will get the Last Word while I'm gone (from LOS) !!
