Mmm pretty picture isn't it! Having been involved with both the MRTA and BTS the realities are - MRTA Blue Line Extensions, Orange Line and Purple Line pretty much designed, speciified ready to go, BTS - 2Km extension over Chao Phya structure in place - 2 stations and extension within 2 years maybe.

As for the rest, some outfits with clout having a go at collaring the lot with Chinese help - any mileage in that - only those on high know!

Unfortunately, Thebear, you are absolutely correct. Only those on high do know, and with the PM's resignation today there will be uncertainty for some time to come.

The " megaprojects" will more than likely go ahead, but as to when.......possibly kicking off some time in the next year, but the process that was started in January with bids being invited has stalled because of the political unrest.

However when they do start there will be opportunities for a lot of people.

As for the moment, well I'm off to Taiwan for a few months, can't sit around here waiting for the gov't to get their act together, back in BKK end of August.

Hopefully by then the picture will be a lot clearer.

Maybe can catch up with you for a beer then and discuss possibilities.
