Samsung Galaxy Grand

Any users out there,with useful tips.?. Bought one today. Reason. My new ace + was hard to text with my big fingers,this one you just turn horizontally ad the keyboards nice n big..Half the price of a S4, but it fits my pocket, both in size and cost.

I bought a Galaxy Grand in April - very happy with it. On Summer promotion in Thailand for half the cost of an S3, S4, or Note-2.

Thanks,thats easy to understand.The experts say the resolution is lower than the S4,but having the 2 in front of me now,they are splitting hairs.Love the bigger key size,no more double back.GPS is fun too.

Yes, the resolution/pixel density of a Grand is little less than half of an S4...and significantly less horsepower. You really won't notice the resolution difference if just using the phone for basic tasks & Apps, but for pictures and such you will notice the difference along with greater horsepower/speed in running many Apps. The wife and I played with both the S4 and Grand before buying S4's. When you got a S4 in one hand and a Grand in the other hand, running Apps, tapping icons, looking at high resolution pictures, etc., the S4 is the clear winner but it does cost twice as much as a Grand. The wife and I have had our S4's for a few months now and absolutely love them...we will be keeping them for several years since it seems the high end phones are having a hard time really adding any capability/resolution/horsepower/features that is really a major advancement. Before the S4's, we had Samsung Ace 2's which was a fine phone and is a mid priced phone with a 3.8" screen which has the same resolution as a Grand. This Pixel thing confuses me,seems that the Human Eye can't tell the difference over say 600,yet they love to boast higher pixel rates. As for Apps,i don't much care .In fact my next idea is creating a Personal Loading Screen without 200 things i never use. I.E. Turn On,and just see Missed Calls,Camera, Gps and a few other things i use.Another Plus is Samsung Shops are exactly that.I don't want to see millions of other brands.Getting there slowly.Cant get rid of the old hands free setup from my old phone,it blocks out Bluetooth/Honda Connect for some reason.
