US Passport renewal address in Thailand
Many good threads here recently with details, can be found with a search. https://th.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/passports/instructions-for-ds-82-processing-by-mail-and-online-fee-payment-for-u-s-citizens-residing-in-thailand/ Based on some 'experts' here this seems incorrect. They've said that the details are transmitted electronically to the National Passport Processing Center in NH, where Passports are produced, then couriered back to the Embassy. -

US Passport renewal address in Thailand
You need to purchase the Courier Pass Back Envelope from Thai Post. www.thailandpostmart.com All of this is explained on the US Embassy's web site about US passport renewals. -

Retirement visa
The 'abroad' requirement is only for the initial non O visa. It is not required for subsequent extensions, as in your case. -

Crime Drunken Foreign Tourists Assault Thai Woman, Locals Step In with Brutal Response
... in areas such as this... I'd agree... elsewhere, Bangkok for example and other cities and area's foreigners are treated and thought of with a similar indifference with which Thai's will treat each other... and interacted with based on merit rather than anything else... ... This is actually what I like about Thailand (outside of such areas)...- 1

Access to US DMDC websites from Bangkok
I should have been clearer. I had been using DS Logon since early 2024 when the Tricare Overseas Portal directed me there. Everything was fine until mid-May, when MFA stopped sending me a text PIN. I have never been locked out—the system always indicated that a PIN had been sent, but I never received one. Selecting the phone option resulted in a recorded message to the AIS number but no PIN, so I assume the number is correct. I attempted to access TOP directly some time ago but received the 'Sorry Charlie' message. I use ID.me for VA access and connect directly to myPay at DFAS, so I won’t miss DS Logon. It sounds like I should go for MyAuth. Thanks
