When I switched my Nexus 7 tablet on this morning it had a vertical red line on the screen. It does not show in a screenshot. I shut the device down, waited 10 seconds, started it up again, and the line is still there. Is this something that can be repaired easily?

Thank you, Lomatopo. I got the Nexus 7 as gift from somebody who bought it from an online shop in the USA and brought it to Switzerland in August last year. The line seems to we only one pixel wide, about 3 cm from the right margin (in portrait view) and thus does not bother me much. Probably not worth the trouble to send it back to the USA for a warranty claim, but I shall look into it.
