Holly smokes... this bike looks gorgeous on the jap magazine shot.

Why honda would release in 650cc twin if they already have 3 bikes 500cc twin?

it has to be inline 4, otherwise it makes no sense.

Kawasaki: 300cc twin, 650cc twin, 800/1000/1400 inline four

Honda: 250cc single, 500cc twin, 600/650/1000 inline four

makes sense?

also note the letter F at the end of the model name , means Four cylinder I believe.

The photos are of existing bikes, not the new ones.

It will be a 4 cyl bike.

My 500F is a parallel twin. The 'F' actually stands for 'sport cruiser'.

After seeing the Kwaka Z800 and not feeling my heart go pitter patter maybe there could be something else on the horizon that will! I think I will start slowing down at Bug Wing when I pass by each day!

Will Honda number 45 be a 650??? It would be nice to have a medium size ride sometimes. The PCX150 and VTX1800 are great but not really sporty.

The workshop is really great...hope the spanner twirlers are too.

This bike is not even released in Japan, it appears to me these are just normal evolutions to the made in Japan line for global markets.

Apparently the price in Japan would be 850K Yen = 270K Baht

To me nothing indicates these would be produced or assembled inThailand. But certainly Honda can import it, in that case a reasonable price could be Bt 280K + 100% import, 30% excise, 7% VAT.

The "F" in the Honda CB500F actually stands for "Free"

I was talkin' traditional like...

I know, was not a correction, please see it more as additional info. The CB500F is for me personally a perfect example of what a all-round bike should be... (for the price of course).

As I said before, Honda is internationally trying to promote the new 2014 Honda CB600F...

The new 2014 Honda CB600F is just another indication that Honda has no desire to introduce a 650cc inline-four, especially with Honda leading the race of the most efficient around 650cc twin-cylinder engine motorcycle engine....

In the contrary of what some people of some forums would like to believe, the race is now-a-days not about the best performance per cubic meter.... The race is more about owners experience, comfort and ridabilty and cost per kilometer....again Honda beast anybody in the market....

But to say that they will introduce a 650cc inline-four is not really a thing after they introduced the 2014 Honda CB600F....

Update:

New cbr650 will be 4 cylinder and all steel chassis including a steel two sided swingarm. So most probably it will be a heavy bike if no miracle.

Also, honda will release two bikes. Cb650 and cbr650. Naked and sport.

But what i heard yesterday at ducati openning from a reliable sources, bikes will cost around 330 - 350 k which confused me a bit as i was expecting less as it makes around 11.000 usd and it is the price of a cbr600r so i am not sure how will they export it. I hope it will be cheaper than this.

Besides, new cbr650 will look similar to cbr1000r inluding the location of the exhaust.

Bikes will be released likw december at the motor show.

So, it is cbr650 or ducati hypermotard with hyperstrada seat for me now!

Finally the bike showed up:D

Looking cool, an evalution of cbr600f. Prefer cbr1000 styling than this though.

It is a shame for honda not offering this bike with upside down forks. C'mon honda but swingarm looks like it is aluminum?

87 hp is morr than enough for thailand and now waiting for full specs and fingers crossed it is not heavier than 210 kgs.

Still, it revs up to 12.000 rpm:D

Naked version is not for me though.

You seem to be on a roll, could you tell us what else not to expect, so we can expect them?

And specs.

Cbr650f is 211 kg and f is 208 kg. Just over 210.

Not bad still a bit heavy for city.

87 hp at 11.000 rpm and 63 nm at 8000 rpm. Good!

He's promoting Chinese bikes so he always tells people Jap models won't arrive. Did the same with the ER6 range. A RichardBKK denial = time to save :)

Same weight as the Ninja650, but with 16 more hp, but same torque. How much are the Ninjas in Thailand?

You forgot to mention the exhaust note... Which will sound 10000000000000000000 better than a twin. :)
