Dave Lee Travis faces another sex charge as two more women come forward

EX-BBC presenter Dave Lee Travis said "the nightmare is continuing" after being told he is facing another charge of indecent assault.

One of the charges he will be retried on involved Travis allegedly grabbing the breasts of a national newspaper reporter and "sizing them up like fruit".

gone are the days when you could grab a girls ass, and it was fun for both partys,,

or even talk about there ass for that matter,

but girls were as bad,

did you ever live TJ,

have fun as a kid growing up,

ever sit with a girl and experiment,

bloody nora, lighten up mate

And there lies the problem Pidgeon Jake, TJ has probably never forgiven himself for missing out on the greatest decade of the Century: the Sixties. You didn't have to be a well known DJ to have the girls throwing themselves at you.and the alternative, enforced religion was no consolation,to having fun,in that era, or indeed the seventies!

surely the best way out for these guys is to undertake a lie detector test and swing the case their way ,if thats possible.

woody allen took a lie detector test and passed with flying colors

Too unreliable, so not admissible in UK courts. Even if a defendant has taken one, the jury are not allowed to know that they have.

Lie Detectors to make an appearance?

Just an up date, DLT is again in court for a trial that lasted about a week, the jury have been out for 3 days now and again seems to have a problem coming to a verdict.

Jurors in the sex abuse trial of former BBC DJ Dave Lee Travis have been told they can give majority verdicts.

Judge Anthony Leonard made the direction on the third day of their deliberations at Southwark Crown Court.

Mr Travis is being retried on one count of indecent assault on a woman between 1990 and 1991 and one of sexual assault in 2008.

If found guilty, although he is accused of doing something no man should do to a woman, (well unless consenting), it was hardly a brutal rape, given his age, the time that elapsed since the alleged crime and none of the women reported it to the police at the time, what would be a suitable punishment be?

Dave Lee Travis, the former Radio 1 DJ who was found guilty of attacking a young researcher, has been sentenced to three months suspended for two years.

Travis, who was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on Friday, was found guilty of groping a young female researcher behind the scenes of the Mrs Merton TV show the victim was working on.

The victim, who has chosen to remain anonymous, said in a victim impact statement that they would not be seeking compensation “now or in the future”.

Tax payers' money well spent? I don't think so. I can't stand DLT but although he's not getting jail time his life is in tatters.

The fallout continues:

DJ Tony Blackburn says he has been sacked by the BBC after a disagreement over his evidence to an inquiry into Jimmy Savile.

He says the Dame Janet Smith report, due later, includes a claim he was among a number of celebrities who seduced a 15-year-old girl.

The Radio 2 DJ says he was cleared of any wrongdoing, but says the decision to end his contract relates to an investigation into the matter.

The BBC has yet to comment.

He says the claim made in 1971 was quickly withdrawn.
