I just received a Media Player that came with a mini CD that was supposed to contain the instructions for the set-up. I have tried to play it in two CD/DVD players and all I get is the language choice (English) which I hit OK, but it won't progress past that point. In fact one DVD player says "disc not recognised", so I wonder if this disc is compatible with my players. I admit I have never seen or used one of these discs before, only 8cms across and has "compact disc recordable" stamped on it.

Any help appreciated.

Yep, it's very unlikely it's going to contain video or audio tracks if it's an instructions CD.

My laptop has a CD drive and I also have an external CD/DVD burner, but the disc won't fit either because the hole in the middle won't fit over the spindle.
