My current phone has a standard size sim card and I plan on purchasing a phone with a nano sim card.

I want to keep the same number, I am with DTAC. Do you know if it's possible to get my old number on a new nano sim card?

Easy and takes 5 minutes. Go to DTAC store, request new SIM... I think they charge 50฿.

I've migrated several DTAC pre-paid (Happy) and post-paid accounts from ols, standard (mini-) SIMs to new micro-SIMs. Just stop by any DTAC full service shop where they will give you a new SIM, and re-program their systems to map your existing number to the new IMSI SIM. All the times I've done this there has been no charge and it took less than 2 minutes.

The old large sim can be converted to a small sim by most mobile phone shop sellers.Takes few seconds .

DTAC also gave me an adaptor so I could move the sim between my old phone and the new one.

I had problems with on old 12call sim card.

Just went to the 12call shop, had to show I.D. to register my name to the sim.

Burnt all the contacts to the new sim, about 15 minutes in and out.
