Sorry, forgot about thread. I paid 40000 baht per tooth. I had them done over two separate trips, as that was my wont. You can get instant loads if you are up to it.

She prefers that you are there for a minimum of three weeks for the initial implant, in order to check for problems. Then you should wait three to six month(longer is better) for the implants to fuse with the bone. Then for the abutment and Crown.

Different teeth may need a differing time frame. Best to make an appointment.

The best Dentist in my experience.

Perhaps three or four years ago now.

She speaks excellent English, but the reception speak mainly Thai. I think it best to make your own appointment to see the Implantologist/Head Dentist, but if you are having problems with communication, ask to speak to Gavin Waddell. He is in the International Relations Department for Phyathai Hospital Sri Racha.

Had mine done here

Experienced, static Implantologist/Oral Surgeon.

May I ask what you paid per tooth?

Thanks

is the 70,000 baht for each implant or per tooth ?

at St Louis Hospital that wanted to put 2 implants in to hold a bridge of 4 teeth ( lower front teeth )

and what system are they using ? USA, European Japanese ??

I need to do this one of these days but the prices I got were 2 times as much

Who mentioned 70,000 baht?

Contact the Implantologist and find out for yourself.

I reckon you got a good price there ... thumbsup.gif

I've had 3 done and mine were a little cheaper ... but that was a year earlier then when you got yours done.

My sister is currently getting one done and her costing is 42,000 Baht from memory ... American post.

.

The exchange rate was better then too.

. The price I have quoted is all but irrelevant. As I can't imagine that I could have had a better experience with any other dentist at any price. A throughly decent dentist and person

Yeah 70000-80000 is quite average for world's famous implants like Astratech or Strauuman. Do some research before seeing your dentist esp. if you opt for a major work like this. Even with this price it is still cheaper to do it in Thailand. Dont forget to always ask for the make of the implants your dentists use. You can even get a Thai implant for around 30000 baht but it means whenever you have a loose screw, no dentists at home can fix it for you, you will always have to return to Thailand just for a simple problem with your implants.
