Dear Sunbelt-Team!

I found following info in a topic from 2011 about prohibited occupations:

Question from garrya:
'Is there any possibility to get involved in working activities as partner or director or manager in a company owned by wife related to the so-called prohibited occupations to foreigners?]

Sunbelt answered:
'You can be all three, partner, director or manager, and it will be legal in any occupation, either prohibited or not.'

My question:
Does this mean, that it's possible to get a work-permit for any occupation (including prohibited) in the company of my Thai-wife? Or only for 'managing the company' as 'partner, director or manager' ?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

You can be the owner or director of a company that engages in a prohibited occupation but you cannot hold that occupation yourself. For example, you can own a beauty salon but you could not be a hairdresser yourself.

I hope that clears things up.
