Hope there is enough to give my flowers a drink, and put a damper on 75% of the fireworks, saving my animals going crazy with the days of bangs.

Very hot up here in Udon Thani, wanting a good downpour before the cool season. But not too much to have peoples homes flooded.

9 provinces told to brace for heavy rains

BANGKOK, 14 November 2013 (NNT) - The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department has warned residents in the South and East to brace for heavy rains and landslides during the next three days.

The depression is expected to trigger widespread flooding and landslides. Strong winds will also create up to 3 meter high waves in the South and small boats should be kept ashore during this period.

Residents are urged to closely follow weather updates and those affected can contact the DDPM hotline at 1784 around the clock.

Useful website to bookmark. Save you having to ask questions in future! Input your town (and can change language and Faranheit/Centigrade

Looks like we in Lower Isaan are going to be spared the worst as the main part of the storm has its northern border tracking along the Thai/Cambodian border. Light rain here started an hour ago in lower Sisaket - as predicted by the satellite weather map

If this keeps up, it won't come down!

I didn't find any promising reports :(

According to weather reports it says 2,8mm rain and 4-8 meter per second winds (up to 28 km/h) from 6-12 AM tomorrow (when I arrive at BKK). The winds though will last at least until Saturday next week. Hmm...

The best way to avoid a tropical depression in SE Asia is to drink about 5 Singhas.

Some rain in CNX would be a pleasure. Very hot during the day for this time of year.

way too hot!!!

There was a really heavy downpour in Nan yesterday evening. A few drops along the road from Nan to Chiang Rai today, but not much. Partly cloudy......

Just started raining in Lamphun. Egg on my wife's face as she was certain that the storm east of Vietnam would NOT cause rain here biggrin.png .

Some rain in CNX would be a pleasure. Very hot during the day for this time of year.

we had rain in Suthep, CNX about 0600 today. Wet the paths and not much else.

here in sakhon nakhon its been glorious weather for the past 6 weeks...had one day of rain 6 weeks ago...unbroken sunshine not been a cloud in the sky.....

So where is this heavy rain? Seems like the weather forecasters screwed up big time, because there hasn't been a single drop.

Light rain in Ranong

Moderate rain in sukhumvit/asoke early morning and heavy clouds rolling in now from the east

The rain yesterday didn't amount to much, and it's cloudy today, but doesn't look like it will rain again. Could change this afternoon, of course.
