I bought organic rice in Big C in bkk.

In bkk you can also find it in Villa Market, and in up market supermarkets like Emporiom, Siam Paragorn, etc.

The Ministry of Public Health last year reported that vegetables in supermarkets had 100 times more pesticides than permitted, vegetables labelled organic had the same level of contamination. The news report did not say if the ministry ordered the vegetables removed from the supermarket shelves.

I'm with Johna. I used to work in gorcery and produce in USA. Often times the test to determine if something is organic is a simple, "Is this organic?" Nowadays in USA, they're passing out organic licenses. But I really doubt it's regulated very well here.

That being said, I see organic rice in just about every western style grocery store.

And if you're really into organic food, I suggest this restaurant:

The tast is ok, but it does seem very clean and fresh.

Which one seems the best organic rice ? the less cheating ones I mean...

Look for the ones that look packaged for export (English title & texts)

If they want to export to the EU, they must be regulated, and if they get caught cheating they will be banned for a long time. So export to the EU is your best indicator for real "organic".
