Panthongtae urges Thais to call on Suthep to stop rally

BANGKOK: -- Panthongtae Shinawatra, the son of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, Sunday urged Thais to call on protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban to stop his anti-government rally.

Panthongtae wrote on his Facebook wall that if Suthep managed to bring out protesters to topple the government, the country would stand to lose and Thais would lose from the rifts.

He said all Thais should urge Suthep to stop and return to work in Parliament instead of leading street protests.

The missunderstood fugitive seems to be counting his blessings. He's gradually understanding that his aim to regain control over Thailand is a mission impossible. So he will retire to living the billionaire life. His son is assigned to keep meddling with Thailand. Thus country and people will be punished still for the utter stupidity of not allowing him to steal more, but of convicting him for some of his crimes.

I read somewhere that at one time there was a punishment which included up to 7 generations of the guilty parties relatives as well as the culprit. When dealing with individuals who have such potential to create so much devastation to a country, sometimes the old methods may be part of the solution.

Well, his sisters left ten days ago for London and by the nature of the booking it seems that they've been gone for a while; possibly on a long stay visa? 8 pieces of luggage with a combined 156 kilogrammes; some canned shrimp paste or similar?

I see one has a platinum Thai Airways card but the other only has gold.

Thailand needs to be rid of the Shinawatra family running the country. This is called nepotism.

I have the very thing for little Panthongtae , bend over son and it might hurt a little bit at first , but you will like it when it is all the way in... Just what your father has been doing to Thailands people for years... it's called Analism...w00t.gif

156 kilogrammes.

That is a heavy luggage for two sisters.

Hopefully nothing is wrinkled.

I bet there was no rice from the stockpils in it.

Too bad, apparently the english customs have not looked inside.

Thaksin can't find it easy flitting between the middle east and London where he is just another very rich man among many.

He is forced to live a lifestyle where he is not getting bows, wai's and the respect he was used to in Thailand.

All that money but he is a lonely guy in a lonely world.

Absolutely - exactly!

In Thailand Thaksin and his family could close down Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok if they simply decided to visit Central Chidlom, wherever, absolutely no questions asked - no-one dared.

In London or Dubai he's just another very rich guy among possibly hundreds of other very rich guys and he receives no particular special privileges at all.

Senior policemen in Thailand would virtually fall to their knees to greet him - the lowliest PC in London will not even salute him.

That has to really grate on such a megalomaniac.

I think that must fuel his anger all the more Patrick.

The self imposed exile he is in would be a joy to most people but as a lonely man in his bedroom each evening he must reach boiling point at the way he sees the media treat him and his loss of face and respect.

The way he threw defamation writs like confetti against his critics in Thailand won't work in his new world.

Like it or not he is a bird in a gilded cage with pent up anger fuelling his daily routine.

I don't disagree with your comments, and this is somewhat a side remark. But, I wonder if anyone at UKBA or HMR&C cared to inspect the unusually large amount of luggage to unaccompanied young single ladies happened to have with them.

Ah, when they saw the name on the tickets, maybe not.

The UK supposedly has strict laws about the amount of cash that can be hand carried into the UK. Wonder if the ladies had to declare they were a tad above the limit ? Or did they simply get ushered through VIP channels. They do seem to get some privileges !
