Protesters will continue fighting against Yingluck govt : Suthep

Anti-government rally leader Suthep Thaugsuban on Sunday insisted to fight on to uproot Thaksin Regime and Yingluck Government.

He was speaking at 4.30pm after protesters tried to lay siege many government offices including Government House and Royal Thai Police headquarters.

Police fired tear gas at the protesters at many rally sites as they tried to enter the premises.

Suthep said Yingluck government has no legitimacy to administer the country as her government has violated the laws and the constitution.

"Yingluck government withdrew the amnesty bill from the House after Constitutional Court ruled it unconstitutional. However the bill is already submitted to get the royal approval and she did not withdraw it yet. This clearly showed that she still wants the monarch to sign it," Suthep said.
