I agree, most years you can count the cool nights on your fingers!

This year we are having a long run of them and me and the missus are at odds over them!

I revel in the cooling after sunset and watch the thermometer fall below the dreaded 85/30, while she pesters me to turn off the fan!

I get up early well before sunrise and walk around enjoying the fresh alien feeling of cool draughts.

The pool is getting less usage though!

Thais feel the cold more than us, 'Er Indoors has been putting her icy feet on me in bed, it's like being in Norway, not Thailand, She walks around the house in hoodies and blankets, bless her.

My wife is a little more civilised. She wears socks to keep her feet warm.

Hate it + more washing to do, 24/7 have to wear long pants and T-Shirt, hate the cold, no fan on for over 10 days as far to cold

No I do not live up North just 50 KM north west of BKK, for me is far to cold.

Well it was a nice run & I really appreciated it :)

But I think it is officially over today or at least feels like it

including last night. ;)

Yes--the wonderful cold weather is disappearing--soon we'll all be sweating again.

Some farang asked me if I was happy that "the good weather was back" I wanted to say no, but I was polite.

Out in the sticks of Lampang Province I officially turned the fan on in my office at 12:23pm today.

That was one heck of a run and Ive got a couple of utility bills to prove it.tongue.png

True as I had to do some work outside today & was sweating in no time.

I really enjoyed that season though & hope it is as good next year.

It was so nice to do so many daytime outdoor things in total comfort

( well ok it was a bit too cold to swim for a little while )

Also not to mention my aircon never went on for a few months.

Yes, we must all have saved on our electricity bills- put the savings in a jar for April/May/June/July etc...

Last year at this time it was pretty hot. So hot that my bike (pedal) brakes were overheating coming down from Samoung (sic). Very little rain last year, and very little wind. I don't remember the smoke in the first week of Feb, but I do remember more oil on the roads as the month progressed. I think it was quite nice overall. Only about a week of cold nights from Oct-May, if I remember correctly.
