Khao Yai Hotels

Featured Replies

Hi,

does anybody have a recommendation for a reasonable priced hotel in Khao Yai?

Thanks!

I stayed in Kirimaya which is definitely not reasonably priced but was very nice. I've heard that cabbages and condoms resort is ok but I've never stayed there so can't confirm that.

You can't actually stay at a hotel in Khao Yai. There is a basic hostel type thing in Khao Yai and you can camp. ON the way up to Khao Yai national park there are stacks of resorts. Some are very pricey, up to 10K. I like the Greenery for activities as I live in the area. It has bowling, climbing, ATV's archery etc. There are a number of nice restaurants on the way up to the park as well.

Try the Jungle House. It is located on very spacious grounds, lots of jungle, a river, even elephants. Located not too far from entrance. I think they have a Web site. M-F and Sunday they have reduced rates, around 600 Baht for most rooms, at least they did a few months back. If you take the train you can then take a song taew from near the 7-11 for 30 Baht right to the entrance. Takes about 30 minutes from the station.
