What is the highest speed you have been to in this country?

Featured Replies

What is the highest speed you have been to in this country, remembering that you are driving on public roads and there are laws in place, if you have driven at high speeds what are your reasons for doing so.

My highest speed here is 140kph which I did the one time, I didn't enjoy the experience and it has never been repeated since, my speeds here are 40/60 kph in and around Phuket, on main roads 90/100kph depending on conditions, at high speeds it is not possible to see and avoid the huge potholes that plague this country, be honest no one will have a go at you!! then again they might!!

A little over 160 kph on my NSR150RR back in the late 90's. A new road with no traffic. My wife was riding on the back.

I think it's best to close this before it goes into dodgy territory. Speeding is illegal. And discussion of illegal activities on Thaivisa are not permitted.
