French motorcyclist dead after crashing into car driven by Ukrainian in Phuket

PHUKET: French man Sylvain Wacquez, 26, was killed in a high speed motorbike smash after he crashed his motorbike into a car being driven by a Ukrainian driver.

Chalong Police arrived to the crash scene around 4.45am this morning (December 29), outside Rawai Temple.

From initial investigations, police said Ukrainian woman, Alla Malysh Enko, 27, had visited a 7-Eleven store then drove her car away and made a "sudden U-turn while Mr Wacquez was driving at high speed".

Mr Wacquez smashed into her car and died instantly.

Ms Enko's car hit the temple wall when she panicked and swerved to avoid the motorbike.

Police are continuing with the investigation.

Why is motorbike fault if it is driving on the correct lane ? What suppose to happen ? to stop inmediatly/suddenly braking to death her way driving correctly on her lane and let the ukranian woman perform the Sudden U Turn at 04.00 am ?
