My holoday is finished and just came back to Thailand. I decided to move to Bangkok and after finally finding a quiet place to stay, now I have to buy new furniture. Does anyone know any good and reasonable priced shops in Bangkok. In Pattaya I had my bedroom and living room furnished, good quality and reasonable prices, I was thinking of buying it from Pattaya and have it delivered in Bangkok but I just hate all the hussle of doing so...Any ideeas? Thanks

Not sure what materials in particular you are looking for, but recently I bought a 3 seater leather couch which is really good quality and a 1 seater for less then 50k baht. They have a huge range and a big showroom... but its quite a drive from the centre of bangkok.

Living Room by JAS is the name of the company.

Address: 1000 Moo 5 Srinakharin Road Samrong Nua

Samutprakarn 10270

If your after custom made furniture (to your design/size/material/budget/etc) then definitely go to seacon square. In the same district as listed above.

Good Luck :o

Bang Po has mostly wood furniture. Great place.

Get off the Skytrain at Chatchchak and ask the taxi to go to Bang Po/Soi Furniture.

Try MBK, 5th floor is a huge selection of shops, same same World Trade Center.

Between Sukhumvit 25 & 49 are quite a few places to look.

Massive furniture shows at the convention centers a few times per year.

All of the shopping centers have furniture on the top floors. The Mall, Central, MBK, Seacon Square and such. For standard quality Chinatown has a whole street of large shops one after another. And there are standalone or a few together in many other areas of the city.

Not too many options out there, I think I'll just buy it in Pattaya and hire a transporter to bring it over. Does any of you have any recomandations for a good transporter from Pattaya to BKK? Thanks again

As far as I know a lot of the leather furniture in Bangkok/Thailand is made in Samut Prakarn.

Goto a place @ seacon square on the 3rd floor called Mobel Art Co, Ltd.. They have loads styles, most of which they can also offer as recliners, and on top of that they have a choice of about 25 different colors of leather.. Delivery only takes about 2/3 weeks.

Make sure u tell the girl u want the discount, special offer,etc.. Or you'll end up paying 40% more than u should :o
