Bangkok Bank Credit Card Green Fee Offers

Recommended Posts

Madam pointed out, with glee, that if you have a Bangkok Bank Credit Card then a number of courses are offering discounts. So looks like we will be having a little drive around and playing.

Info at www.bangkokbank.com/creditcard.

Examples Blue Sapphire 70% and Nichigo 40% discounts. Blue Sapphire said that you need one CC for each persons discount ... lucky that BB gave me a Master Card and a Visa Card then, it looks like you can also use your B1st card, unless like me you can only use it for drawing cash. Be warned that there will be a number of Koreans playing this time of the year.

Think we will do Blue Sapphire/Nichigo/Sri Nakarin Dam and the odd one or two others.

In Pranburi there is a course called either The Millford or The Milford Eagle ... can anyone advise what that course is like please ... also anywhere reasonable to rest our weary bodies for a night in that area?

Here is an update

Grand Prix ... are not in the scheme but they have a Promotion on Tuesdays of 1500Baht for Green Fee, Caddy and Buggy ... played there and it's just as good as ever. We played at 9:30am and the course was quite.

Blue Sapphire ... was 300Baht Green Fee, 250Baht Caddy and 500Baht Buggy. BUT what a change from a few years ago ... we were members there in the past ... the course, in my opinion has gone downhill somewhat. We won't be playing there again.

Sri Nakarin Dam (EGAT) ... 150Baht Green Fee (normally 300), 250Baht Caddy and 500Baht Buggy (can share). Have played the course quite a few times in the past and now I think it's even better. I did have a little problem getting the 50% Green fee reduction as they initially said only for Thai, but my wife sorted. This course was very quite.

Nichigo ... phoned up to book but they said only 20% Green fee reduction although advert said 40% so on principle gave them a miss .. did Sri Nakarin twice instead.

You can walk both Blue Sapphire and Sri Nakarin but both are hilly courses and sometimes there is quite a distance between holes AND Kanchanaburi can be warm!
