Bathroom fittings & Cleaning solution ?

Featured Replies

This post comes in two parts, and I would appreciate any guidance and info.

1. Can you recommend any particular brand of fittings ?

I have tried and it seems that no matter what I buy, cheap or expensive, within a short time they go black and start looking shabby.

2. Anyone recommend how to keep the fittings clean ? We seem to get this white, possibly lime scale, over everything and its difficult to keep clean, what do you use and find effective ?

In the west we have a cream cleaner but there doesnt appear to be anything like that here.

Advice please ?

Yes I agree! I went out today and got some from Thaiwatsadu, I went for the HG Professional limescale remover concentrate, it worked really well, diluted 50/50 for first use,( it can be used at 10:1) it brought all the chrome taps and white ceramic sink etc back to life.

Highly recommend this product!

Careful using that stuff near stone or marble.. I have a nice etched ring on the bathroom bench / sink where I accidentally spilled some

HG also has lime protector, that you apply it on the cleaned fixture for general protection and you don't need the removing concentrate every time.
