Looking For A Nanny In Phimai/korat Area?

Featured Replies

We have been looking for a live-in nanny locally, but have exhausted all the options (not many).

Does anyone no of, or have any suggestions as to how we go about getting one?

We had one bad experience (she spent her months salary calling her boyfriend all day and night), and since then haven't found anyone else locally.

Andy,

Well, as a live-in she wouldn't necessarily need to be a Korat local would she. What sort of terms are you giving? Salary, days off, etc. What is the job description, nanny, any maid work or cooking, etc.? I'd think an older single woman without kids might be a better option than a younger girl/woman possibly.

Sorry for the delay in replying.

We were thinking of 6 days a week live-in.

Looking after our 3 year old, taking him to and from local school, feeding him etc.

A bit of baby sitting for the new baby.

General housework etc.

We've recently had a bad experience with a young girl who basically got home-sick. Also an older girl in late 20s who spent her months salary calling her boyfriend (Kittung kittung.....).

My wife isn't keen on anyone too old.

Someone in their 20s or 30s would be ideal.

As for salary........ Thats a bit of a negotiable issue.

We were told the going rate is about 4000 Baht a month, and that is what we have been paying.

But I reckon we may need to go a bit higher to get what we need.

Any offers?

Andy.
