My name is Mark Tomaras. I am a photographer and I am new to Bangkok. I am working on some portfolio portraits of creative types.

I will make a portrait of you for free of charge to be used in my portfolio. I have a few concepts in mind; chiefly environmental portraits that make use of interesting spaces or places. My target audience is editorial work; covers and interior photos in music magazines, general cuture magazines, etc.

Please send me a picture of yourself as well as a brief description of your work. If you are in to this getting a free photo shoot thing, and your look matches some of the concepts I have in mind, well then, we're going to make some photos!

I love photography, Do you have an online portfolio I could view? or perhaps you could post some images on this thread. I would be fascinated to see some of your work.

I know several foreign photographers who have work permits, either because they work for registered news/press/media agencies or because they have their own companies.

I can understand the former...Common practice if you work for someone like AP, Reuters, AFP, Getty etc... Or "string" for a recognized publication...

But the latter...Do you have to become something like a "Photographic Director"..."Photographic Technical Director"...Or some other type of wordy description in your Thai Ltd Company to circumvent the WP laws?
