Or sending off the wrong players.

Not wishing to open a can of worms, but could it have been a case of "they all look alike to me" ? Easier if it was between the BFG and Cazorla.

Or it could have been that neither of them saw it and were goaded into a snap decision :)

What I can't understand is why the ref didn't listen to the Ox?

because referees can't trust players because players lie to them most of the time?

Right and players cannot be part of any decision making.

Well is it time to review your final top positions in the Premier League now that the weekend matches have been completed?

Another shock result and defeat for Chelsea but I suspect more twist and turns are still to come.

Will Liverpool continue their momentum?

I think it is still in Man Ciy's hands.

Most exciting end to a Premiership for a long time.

Suarez I think.

Title goes to the team with the geezer who scores the most EPL goals.

Just like last season?

Plus they've got that other bloke called Sturridge.

Could be wrong, but if I can get my taxi working, I'm nipping down the bookies.

But tbh, I think the drive shaft is knackered and I haven't got the money atm to get it fixed.

Well it looks like if Liverpool can hold their nerve over the next four games the title is theirs. The crunch game now they have taken the points of Man City is of course the Chelsea home game. But nothing is guaranteed against the teams fighting relegation. It is now a three horse race with Arsenal having a big fight with Everton for 4th. place after a run of poor results.

The winners? It will be a tight finish and I expect more twist and turns to come.

With Henderson red carded that will be a blow for Liverpool as he has come on really well over the past few months.

Liverpool or Man City on performance, Chelsea on tactical nouse (hope not - the most boring by far). Still way too close to call and still scope for injuries to play a big part. Hope it's Man City as that probably means they have defeated Everton.

Unless they are John Terry.thumbsup.gif

Yeah I liked that part of the commentary at Liberty Stadium last night when someone on the staff had lipread and the TV commentator said we think what happened there was that John Terry asked him "are you going to book him ref?" and Dowd has said "I'm still making up my mind John" or some such. Such (one way?) respect?? 'Bout time the FA cracked down on all this questioning of refs - hard firm line that discussion of any sort means yellow card.

I don't understand your point about respect. According to you, JT asks the ref a question and Dowd replies........where is the problem........I believe what Dowd said was more in line with, 'I'm thinking about it John, go away.'

Liverpool without Henderson is not as big a loss as Man City without the injured Yaya Toure.

I think Liverpool v Chelski on 27th April could be the decider and it's sandwiched in between

the two legged Champs League semi for Chelski too.

Man City just can't afford to drop any points in their last six games to have a good chance of

winning the title.

Everton are not going to lie down against City.thumbsup.gif

As for JT and the ref.

It ain't JT's problem, whatever the cynics might wish to imply.

Personally, as far as the EPL title is concerned, I think the people's favourite will be robbed.

I was hoping Man City as the least worst outcome, but I think Liverpool have their name on the trophy now.

no chance. we've not been there before, city and chelsea both have. we're still well capable of a wobble. what we need to do is win at norwich and force chelsea's hand, make them come to anfield having to win, not grind out a boring bus-parked draw or anything. got to bring them out of themselves. it's far, far from our name on anything yet.

yes agreed you need to force Chelsea to come up for a win otherwise Mourinho will kill the game which he does rather well.

Chelsea need 3 points from the Liverpool game.

Can't assume that City will get nothing at Everton.

All or nothing. Draw not enough.

Sandwiched between the ATM games, so tricky.

It will be an interesting 7 days for the Special One.

Don't you just love it Jose.

one potential plus is that the liverpool - chelsea match is sandwiched between the two champions league semi-final legs. so that may have some bearing. though it might just as easily inspire chelsea's players as it might tire or distract them.

must be interesting loving a manager who is so obviously in it for himself rather than his team and who is pretty much despised by every half decent-thinking football fan. certainly nobody does self-publicity better than him.

He's been full of it this season. I'm surprised anyone takes notice of his mind games any more.

i think he's probably lost what remaining respect people had for him. got no problem accepting that he's very good at his job in a functional, emotionless way, but he doesn't need to be quite such an objectionable c*nt doing it. the 'mind games' this season have been particularly pisspoor even for him. failed to get a rise out of pellegrini, failed to get a rise out of anyone really.

I think Mourinho reserves all his emotions for his dressing room mirror and laminated photos of himself.

Never mentioned Liverpool FWIW.
