Along with Tri-X I love Pan-X too. Mind you I find Tri-X to be so forgiving and fun to work

with. As for expiration dates....both can be used well after the expiry date on the box.

The only probs I'm having and they're not really problems in a dramatic sense, is finding

processing chemicals at reasonable prices.

I take the lazy way out and send my films to a pro lab for D+P. Thb 100 per 36 shot roll and Thb 100 MF.

Currently my favourites are XP2 and Acros. So easy to scan. I love the grittiness in TRi-X but it's not the easiest film to scan for sure, but then film was designed for wet printing, not digitising.

What lab are you using?

IQ Lab in Bangkok for C-41 and B+W. Pro Color Lab Bangkok also but specifically E6 as they are the only lab still processing slide.
