How Fast Can You Get A Phone/dsl Line In A House?

I'm looking to rent a house for at least a year. The one's I've seen thus far have not had a phone. How long will it take either TT&T or TOT to run a phone line, and how long for DSL after the phone is run?

you should be able to get a phone line within one month ,with tot.

if the area that you live in is within the adsl area , then you will get adsl at the same time. they are expanding the adsl coverage all the time.

we applied for a phone/adsl line in feb this year , we were told we would have to wait 4 months for both the phone and adsl , and then they contacted us in march saying they are ready to install. we live near the airport.
