Multi media player..

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a multi media player.

Just need one to play movies from a portable HD. Not interested in streaming stuff as we don't have that option.

With or without internal memory.

Thanks

Most TV's, Bluray players and DVD players have basic but functional media player functionality built-in (over Ethernet, USB and some with wifi)..... If you want something with a slick UI though, have a look at models from Popcorn Hour, Dune and WDTV.

I bought a small Egreat media player. Only the size of a packet of cigaretts but works great and plays everything. @ 2,500 baht.

Is that an android device? If so, I've heard from some who own them that there are issues with them. Not playing all the media types, not supporting the full range of audio options, etc.

I've got a WDTV and it works great. We don't do anything online, just play stuff off a portable HD.

No it's not Android as such, it's an Egreat R6S media player, easy to find on the web. Great for travelling as well as it's so small with 2 USB ports. Can use with a HD (which i do at home) or with USB sticks.
