N Korea 'warns of live firing drill'

SEOUL: -- North Korea has announced it will conduct live firing drills near its disputed maritime border on Tuesday, South Korea's defence ministry says.

It would be the second time within a month that Pyongyang had carried out such exercises.

South Korea's defence ministry said it had been notified that the drills would take place near two sets of islands to the west of the Korean peninsula.

A South Korean spokesman said its military was "fully prepared".

North Korea likely to conduct firing drills near disputed sea border with South Korea

SEOUL: -- North Korea said it will conduct live fire drills in two areas near a disputed sea border with South Korea, the South Korean ministry of defense said on Tuesday, according to Reuters.

North Korea conducted similar drills in late March firing more than 500 rounds of artillery near the so-called Northern Limit Line that has been the de facto sea border since the 1950-53 Korean war.

More than 100 rounds landed south of the border, prompting South Korea to fire hundreds of rounds back into the North's waters.

North Korea is just a little upset that Russia has been getting so much attention lately?

We certainly live in dangerous times at the hands of dangerous mentally ill individuals that somehow always seem to work their way into Presidencies or dictatorships.

What's next?

So many hot spots in the worlds, but this one continues to leave me scratching my head.
