Are RM, Barca, Bayern Munich and PSG moaning about City?

Or to put it another way, the moaners are the ones who can't compete.

Levy would love to stick one on Perez "I got more money than you"

...but he ain't got it.

Major inferiority complex, masquerading in a cloak of social injustice.

Just like chicog and carmine.

Not trying to dodge anything stevie. Yes we do have a part to play in this overpaid world of footballers but we merely had to jump on the hyper salaries train that had already left the station. And so all I am saying is to try and pin the blame at City's doorstep is naïve, to say the least. We need to look at the clubs who started all this in the first place. I.E. who paid the first 1mil, 10 mil, 20 mil transfer fees and the first 100k, 120k, 200k weekly salaries.

No we don't. We need to look at spoilt billionaires throwing around other people's money as it it were their own with absolutely no interest in sustainability.

What are you on about now, Levy doesn't own Spurs and Perez doesn't own RM ! in fact Spurs owners have probably got more money than Perez and Real Madrid put together !

Aaah.

The sustainability tack. smile.png

The Sheik and Abramovich are both going to do a runner. thumbsup.gif

Like the rich Arab does when he's spent all his dad's money and can't afford the taxi home from the London casino.

Yes we do. And if you took your blinkers off for just one mili-second you would see that it was all started before they even came here buying the clubs. But I couldn't expect you to do that cos it would interfere with your own agenda. Do you actually read a post that you respond to, before spouting out the same stuff every time?

Early last season there were some petulant displays on the park that concern me, his wages are ridiculous and to be honest he doesn't fit the all round mould to become part of what is becoming a band of brothers. Young, talented, hungry, humble work horses is what we are looking for.

to be honest I also cannot get past the cake incident smile.png

So Stevie G won't playing next season then biggrin.png

I meant in the market place smart arse

Understand Alfie? Got it?

Liverpool are adding players to meld with existing strength.

Just like Baldini and AVB did.

I have already stated in the post you quote that we do have a part to play in the hyper salaries, so your talking tosh. I know what the truth is.

Simple yes or no answer. Do you feel Arsenal have no part to play and should not shoulder any blame in hyping up the transfer fees and salaries?

Big wages and transfer fees are a fact. Inescapable. Market economy.

If you don't like it, adopt the agrarian co-operative philosophy of Pol Pot, the nightmare of Chairman Mao, or the confused UEFA pragmatism of Deng XiaoPing coupled with a bit of corruption.

None at all. We have the stingiest manager in the premiership, remember?

And everything we are doing now is with our own money.

Don't try and sling it on the Gooners mate, you're the one with the filthy Arab who has slung a BILLION POUNDS of money that isn't his into a football club that were nothing and belong there.

Really!!

So Mesut Ozil isn't the second highest Premier League transfer of all time?

And in 1995 you didn't smash the record when you bought Bergkamp?

And in 1971 with Alan Ball?

You are currently the 4th highest wage paying club.

Is Wenger not one of the highest paid managers in the world? Currently double that of Manuel Pellegrini who manages the current premier title winners, City biggrin.png

Believe me mate, your club is just as guilty as any for increasing the cost of players and football in general wink.png So don't try and sling it all at City's door, man up and take some of the responsibility.

And again: With our own money. And we built a stadium - with our own money.

And stayed in the Champions League. With.our.own.money.

Funny how the Stadium is called the Emirates though innit?

Reckon Abramovich missed a trick there.

Little club in Fulham is still called Stamford Bridge.

We really must get that shed refurbished in case Barcelona come and visit us.
