Hang Dong Veggie Farm

Featured Replies

I read here about an organic farm in Hang Dong that sells lettuce tomatoes and fresh veggies from the farm anyone got a link or location for it or a price list and menu

Not sure about farm location per se, but local markets at Wat Don Pin [sunday] and Baan Wang Tan [Friday], sell organic produce from Royal Project and/or Doi Kham. 3pm visit a must as good produce sells fast.

I go to the market next to Royal Floral .. But get there early .. Or else you ll be buying it ant the supermarkets we go to at an outrageous price , but be the same stuff..

Whereabouts in Baan Wang Tan, after you go through the entrance?

Thanks

Is this market open everyday? What are the hours? What time is early for this market?

^ I think he means the Royal Project wholesale shop. On the right when you pass the Royal Flora on the way to Wat Doi Kham.

If you go through the first entrance coming from the city the markets sets up outside the temple on that soi, that's on Sundays 3pm for Fridays 3pm drive along another 500 metres or so to an open area right on the bend.

We don't go to either any more, find that the Mae Hia market has far,far more choice and products from the Royal Project and if you want something they don't have they will get it in if you are a regular eg celery, small potatoes, beetroot, parsley etc Young girl ,Nut, in the centre, towards the rear, is very helpful.

Plus Rimping is at the back, becoming a one stop shopping area

There are occasional market days at the growing fields not far from Doi Kham on some Sundays but dates seem irregular

As Sparkles has posted, before BWT entrance, adjacent the S-bend bridge over khlong. Gotta be there early, ~ 3pm, as all good stuff sells quick. Mae Hia talad is now our 2nd choice.
