Current situation - twisting of facts.

Featured Replies

Why all these big CNN's, BBC's are continously twisting the facts or just bringing a part of of it? Their part and not the whole picture?

Why always that one sided news like the arrest of former PTT education minister who gave remarks on the coup? You notice how many reporters around? Never about bomb-makers and bomb-throwers arrested. Never about farmers paid.... No foreign cameras there, not one.

Yes, I know they eating out of the hands of the people with money but on this scale and on so serious issues?

I live here and am very confused about the issues - which side is worse. Reporters that fly in for a few days at a time are not going to fare much better.

The Daily Mail's website is now blocked in Thailand. It published a story relating to the unspeakable.

Not quite sure what the real issues surrounding the topic is apart from I have stopped watching BBC a while ago when they underrepresented the Palestinians in the very blatant attacks against them where they were trying to justify Israels unparalleled use of deadly force, and CNN long before that, many years actually since they're lopsided reporting on 9/11 and unreliable quantification for the reasons behind it when there was and still is no conclusive evidence as to who the perpetrators were/are. The only reliable news station at the moment that has more correspondents in relevant areas of reporting is Aljazeera. They were the only news station with correspondents inside the Gaza strip during the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and weren't just showing old footage of bottle rocket attacks that barely reached Israels inner walls, instead they showed the real brutality of the Israelis using illegal chemical weapons and murdering innocent children and women which other networks conveniently left out providing you with a very biased, politically driven take on reality. Aljazeera hires the best and the brightest around the world, they're the best paid, they have the highest qualifications, they're award winners for unprejudiced and experienced reporting (David Frost), don't trust anything else is what I say. Aljazeera all the way.

Not Chiang Mai related. And in these troubled times it could well lead to posts that violate current posting rules.
