Any body knows when CNN and BBC news will be back on or any other stations showing news in English ?

When they stay saying nasty things about the nice generals.

when did they go down again? today? i was watching BBC and Channels News Asia earlier today - on WETV however. i haven't even checked True in days now.

At this time of the evening internet traffic is at it's slowest = highest volume. I have 3BB 13 meg package, works fine much of the day, starts to struggle after 19.00.

Because of the blocked news programs on True satellite I checked what was on cable, which I never normally bother with. On Sophon in Pattaya al Jazeera English was being broadcast, so it may also be available in CM if you have a cable service available there.

Strange and annoying. Why is it ok for WETV to carry international news and not True? I have cable primarily for the news channels, and I don't want to switch cable providers unless I'm sure WETV will continue to carry international news and True will continue not to.

I know I can stream, but I hate the internet hangups when I do so, and I don't want to be tied to my computer to catch the news.

Why is it ok for WETV to carry international news and not True? I have cable primarily for the news channels, and I don't want to switch cable providers unless I'm sure WETV will continue to carry international news and True will continue not to.

I don't know about WETV specifically, but I imagine for most cable providers as long as Malaysia/Vietnam/wherever keeps broadcasting them the provider will too

(ironic actually, as though I will be funding those channels I won't get to watch them, while those that don't, will...)

today i can get the USA version of CNN but have yet been able to see CNN International. last night there was nowhere on the page to even view it. i've tried many times today and this evening finally there is a black box which is the viewer but it is just a black screen with "streamago" on the top left corner. is CNN International working for others? i don't really understand why i can get CNN USA, MSNBC and CNBC but not CNN International.

Channel 77 Fox is back on True, apparently UFC and Bones are no longer a threat to peace and order. The international news channels are still off the air.

still can't get CNN International on the website that Darth Sidious recommended. tried on 3 computers. could True be somehow blocking/filtering portions of websites? seems very unlikely but don't understand how others can view it and not me? still a black box with "streamago" on the left corner. all other stations from that website work fine.
