Yesterday, we had a very brief but violent storm that uprooted a tree and fell across my neighbors wall that surrounds his home. When we went over to survey the tree, we saw that the wind had pulled the tree up and left a hole in the ground that was close to a couple of feet deep. We had some other damages around the neighborhood as well with a few trees down and, of course, electric down for a few hours. Fortunately, no injuries, which is always more important than home damages.

We have lost trees in the past as well. It is so sad to see all those years of growth gone in seconds. At least no one was injured.

Saw at T.V. that there was a big food marked in town which where blow down most of it...and a big budha statue also-dont know where that was but a new one wife said.

Lots of big trees down in NBL over the alst 4 storms. Lost a few rubber trees myself.

The statue which went down was at Wat Mae suai Luang..saw it at T.V. looks terrible.
